德国科技公司西门子（Siemens）高阶主管埃斯科巴（Agustin Escobar）搭乘了周四坠毁于纽约市哈德逊河的直升机，机上6人，其中包括三名儿童，全数罹难，而直升机坠入河流的惊悚画面也曝光。

综合外媒报导，这起悲剧发生在周四，一家人原本只是安排了一趟午后的观光行程，准备从空中俯瞰曼哈顿朦胧的海岸线，却在直升机坠落新泽西州海岸外后画下悲惨句点，共造成三名儿童与三名成人（包括飞行员）罹难。

目击者表示，这架直升机从空中坠落，倒置撞上海面，碎片散落、水花四溅的画面令人怵目惊心。

目前关于直升机为何坠毁仍知之甚少，但其急速坠落的画面令目击者震惊，第一时间赶到的救援人员也尽全力进行搜救。

纽约市警察局局长洁提施（Jessica Tisch）表示，下午3点17分左右，警方接获多通911报案，指出在哈德逊河、霍博肯的Pier A公园附近有直升机坠毁。救难人员抵达现场后，警方从水中救出四人，纽约市消防局（FDNY）则救出两人。

提施指出，其中四人在现场被宣告死亡，另外两人则被送往当地医院。泽西市市长富洛普（Steven Fulop）稍后在社群平台X表示，两名儿童送往泽西市医疗中心后不治身亡。市长亚当斯：“我们对这家人的遭遇深感哀痛。”
